Margolis is a cocktail lounge in the heart of Fishtown, craft cocktails, an evolving food and brunch menu, and a rotating lineup of DJs, live musicians, and hosts sharing the same floor, night after night. Public events are strictly 21+.
Nights here run the full spectrum. Tuesdays lean into happy hour, Wednesdays and Mondays carry the midweek crowd (a standing industry night and a live jam session), and Friday/Saturday split into an early day party that often rolls straight into a late-night set past 2 AM. Whatever hour or crowd you’re picturing, there’s a slot that fits — see what's actually on the calendar below.
The Patio is Margolis's open-air space, same building, same address, run on the same booking system, but on its own daytime-friendly schedule: public events here are strictly 21+ and end by 9 PM.
Fabrika is Philadelphia's first fully immersive dinner theater: aerial rigs, industrial-chic design, multi-level seating, and a 360° hydraulic stage, home to burlesque, drag brunches, and variety shows. 200+ events hosted, 15K+ tables served, and 10 years open.
The side that doesn't always make the dinner-theater flyers: Friday and Saturday nights, the room turns over into Fabrika's late-night dance floor, DJs, lasers, and a packed crowd until 2 AM. And the night doesn't have to stop at last call, Fabrika connects straight through to cocktails and live music at Margolis and The Patio, all three run as one night out.

How sales, payouts, and shortfalls are calculated
Included
Excluded
Calculated after discounts, not the original price — a discounted sale still counts at what was actually collected. Once your minimum is reached, your percentage applies to all eligible net venue sales, not only the amount above the minimum.
For example, if your minimum is $1,500 and eligible sales reach $1,300, you owe the $200 difference plus applicable tax and gratuity.
| Revenue | Payment |
|---|---|
| Presale tickets | Through your selected ticketing platform |
| Door admission | Zelle within 24–48 hours |
| Venue-sales percentage | Check available the following Thursday |
Jubyr absorbs card-processing fees for door admission. Refunds, disputes, and chargebacks are deducted from admission revenue.
Ticketing and capacity
Advance ticket sales are capped at 200. Additional admission may be sold at the door, subject to capacity. Margolis holds approximately 150 guests at one time; the presale cap reflects guest turnover and does not increase legal capacity.

Money
When and how am I paid?
Door revenue is sent via Zelle within 24–48 hours of your event. Venue-sales payouts (your 15%/10% share) are processed by check the Thursday after your event and ready for pickup at the bar any time we’re open.
Do I need to submit a W-9?
Before your first payout — one W-9 on file covers every event we book you for going forward.
What happens if a payment is disputed or refunded?
Refunds, disputes, and chargebacks are deducted from your admission revenue before payout.
Ticketing
How many advance tickets may I sell?
Presale (advance) tickets are capped at 200 per event. That cap applies only to presale — it doesn’t limit total attendance.
Can I continue selling at the door?
Yes. Once presale is exhausted or you’ve hit 200, additional admission may be sold at the door, subject to the venue’s legal capacity and real-time availability.
What happens when the venue reaches capacity?
Admission is handled one-in-one-out. Once we reach legal capacity, admission is never guaranteed — even for guests who purchased in advance.

Can I use outside catering?
Yes, with advance approval. It may require additional fees, licensing, insurance, or other documentation, and outside alcohol is never permitted. Outside catering doesn’t grant access to Margolis’s kitchen.
What promotional support does Margolis provide?

Bar minimum
A spending minimum is set and guest purchases count toward it. Spend less, the host covers the difference; spend more, nothing extra beyond what’s purchased.
Open bar
The host covers all beverages during the agreed service period. Full bar, or a curated selection of beer, wine, and cocktails.
Consumption tab
A card goes on file with a spending limit — full bar, or a limited selection (say, beer and wine, or a signature cocktail menu). Drinks charge to the tab until the limit is reached, then guests buy their own.
Cash bar
Guests buy their own drinks all night. Nothing is charged to the host beyond applicable venue minimums or event requirements.
Booking requirements
Capacity can be expanded only by written agreement in advance.

The ground rules
Read the full guidelines
Event timing. Friday and Saturday late-night events run 10:00 PM–2:00 AM. Fabrika hosts an earlier evening performance on these nights; between 9:00 and 10:00 PM the team performs a full room reset — dinner seating out, VIP tables set, bar and service stations prepped, stage and lighting finalized. Plan your arrival and setup accordingly.
Food. Late-night events can offer VIP table menu options and concession-style service. Food offerings must be confirmed before contract issuance so the kitchen can schedule staffing and prep.
Equipment. Fabrika provides a built-in professional sound system. Promoters and performers bring their own DJ equipment, controllers or mixers, laptops, adapters, and specialty gear — plus two XLR cables to connect to the house system. The technical team will assist with integration.
Promotion. No event promotion may begin until the contract is fully executed — no social posts, ticket sales, listings, or collaborations with Fabrika’s accounts before then.
Confirmation. Food and beverage services are finalized before contract issuance. Final details, timing, and logistics are outlined in the official agreement Fabrika issues after this intake form is submitted.
