  • Mondays are not available.
  • If sales fall below your minimum, you cover the difference and earn no percentage.
  • Your minimum must be paid in full by the conclusion of the event.
  • Minimums and calculations

One base minimum applies, set by your date and hours. The two additions stack on top of it, and the form calculates the exact figure as you fill it in.

On a 9 PM–2 AM night the kitchen serves until last orders at 11 PM.

Mondays are not available because that night is a standing weekly residency.

  • The 15% or 10% is paid on total sales (food + bar) for the night, once your minimum is met.
  • Those sales are counted after discounts, and exclude tax, gratuity, refunds and comps.
  • 100% of the door is approved booking by booking. A second one-off does not earn it.
  • Hosts get 50% off their own food and drinks during the event, 25% off bottles.
  • How payouts are calculated

Total sales (food + bar) means what guests actually paid over your night — the contract calls it eligible net venue sales. It is counted after any discount, not at the original price. Tax (10%), gratuity (20%), refunds, chargebacks and comped items do not count. Once your minimum is met, your percentage is paid on the whole night’s sales, not only the part above the minimum.

Presale revenue is 100% yours and pays out through your ticketing platform. Your share of door admission pays via Zelle within 24–48 hours. Your venue-sales percentage is ready the following Thursday.

Door sales are split 50/50 for one-off events and for first-time bookers. That window lets Margolis evaluate attendance, promotion, professionalism, and operational fit. 100% of the door is extended to returning recurring hosts in good standing — it is approved, not automatic, and a second one-off booking does not qualify on its own.

Advance ticket sales are capped at 200. Additional admission may be sold at the door, subject to capacity.

Refunds, chargebacks and comped items are deducted from the admission revenue they came from, before payout.

Margolis reservations and memberships

Your ticket link remains the primary admission option. Margolis also offers around 20 direct reservations per event, promoted only through our website. Margolis keeps reservation revenue; your presale and door terms remain as listed above.

Members attend from a separate, limited allotment that never touches those 20, and you can ask for your night to be excluded.

Cancellation

Cancel more than 48 hours ahead: no cancellation fee. Within 48 hours: 50% of your minimum, capped at $1,500.
